If you let others make decisions for you, you give up control.
When you control the decisions, you control the actions.
 
Take charge of your life,
so there is no longer a need to ask permission of others.
When you ask permission,
you are giving someone veto power over your life.
 
Only you are responsible for your life.
Take control and start making those decisions.

GOALS
 
Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of 
our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus 
and move us in a direction. The only reason we really 
pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. 
Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in 
the long term; it's who you become, as you overcome the 
obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give 
you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment.

So he buckled right in with a trace of a grin

He started to sing as he tackled the thing, 
That couldn't be done and he did it.
 
Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that;
At least no one ever has done it";
But he took off his coat and he took of his hat,
And the first thing we knew he'd begun it.
With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it.
 
There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you, one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.
But just buckle in with a bit of a grin
Just take off your coat and go to it.
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That "cannot be done," and you'll do it.

Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable.
   Be honest and transparent anyway.
 
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
   Build anyway.
 
People who really want help may attack you if you help them.
   Help them anyway.
 
Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt.
   Give the world your best anyway.
